Basildon’s Community Radio, Gateway FM, has won a full-time licence
Gateway FM (broadcasts on 87.7fm) is Basildon’s community radio station now has their full-time broadcasting licence.
Gateway FM is in Basildon Town Centre, in Kelting House in Sothernhay was awarded its 5 year FM licence from communications authority Ofcom.
The station hit the airways back in 2007 and was only had permission to broadcast for a restricted number of days per year.
The news was well received by all its volunteers this week.
