The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one. And yet, mankind finds itself on the brink of extinction when aggressive creatures from that remote planet land on Earth. The play follows the struggles of one man as he endeavours to find his beloved wife. Along the way he must evade the terrifying Martians as they wreak destruction and chaos across the world. Will he and his wife be reunited, or is it already too late?
This original one-man performance takes the audience right back to the classic H.G. Wells novel. Instead of modernising the tale or tampering with the plot unnecessarily, writer Jonathan Goodwin has retained the spirit of the original and remained faithful to the classic science fiction story of Martian invasion. Award-winning actor Goodwin also performs in this gripping piece of dramatic Victorian theatre.
