Great little country pub hidden away down narrow trails. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating, overlooking the hills or snuggle up by the fireplace and admire the taxidermy displays.

Food was excellent and service was not only fast but also very good. Our party was able to have the privacy of a room upstairs (and dogs are allowed in too which is great). Highly rated.

Really nice evening, I'm a fussy vegan so only one real choice and came a little cold but nonetheless was enjoyable. Took a little while to get served but wasn't the bars fault since they were fairly lean on staff. I also wouldn't blame the owners since capacity is reduced, they have a large and brave selection of ales on which is to be applauded. The lad with the blonde hair didn't take any stick but had a nice manner and knew what he was doing. I would definitely come again, more for the beer.. although my friends are meat eaters and loved their food. All in all a lovely evening, thank you.

Very slow service, ordered a prawn and crayfish cocktail and the crayfish was still frozen on the plate not the best.

Absolutely lovely food, wouldn't hesitate to recommend, we have eaten at a few pubs around the area, whilst here on holiday, the food in The White Hart was the best.👍

Just spent 3 nights at this cracking public house.
Our room was absolutely fabulous. Old oak beams and a floor like Blackpool big dipper. Don't forget that the pub was built in 1680.
Great selection of beers and spirits and a good menu with all the dishes cooked to perfection.
Couldn't recommend the White Hart more highly and would definitely go again.

Rather nice 'olde' pub. Untouched by the metal and shiny surface brigade of so called modernists!

We are regular visitors to The white Hart the views from the back are amazing as is the food. It was our first visit after lockdown restrictions lifted and it felt so good and safe. The tables were far apart and all safety factors in place, even one as a time to loo. The food was the same high quality as usual, I had the lamb roast amazing. Its lovely to be back we have missed it so much. The management team are amazing everything under contol.
