Base offers both a Daytime Menu and an Evening Restaurant Menu crammed full of flavour, showcasing the incredible produce that our thriving farming industry and stunning coastlines has to offer. High-quality ingredients and raw products are sourced locally wherever possible to reduce the food miles where they can and help support fellow local businesses.
Mark is a professional freelance chef (trained to 2 AA Rosette Standard) , having previously worked at The Blacksmiths Arms in Broughton, The Armadale Hotel in Ulverston, and Storrs Hall in Windermere. He has also appeared on Masterchef The Professionals.

During Lockdown, Base have created a fantastic takeaway menu ensuring that you can enjoy restaurant quality food in the comfort of your own home.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings they have time slots available between 5.30pm - 8.30pm for collection.
Please note when ordering off their Lockdown Menu it's collection only (there is no delivery service) and payment is by card only. Early booking is also advised to avoid disappointment.
