Roundswell Community Centre, Gratton Way, Roundswell Industrial Estate, Barnstaple, Devon, EX31 3NL
The Barnstaple Organ and Keyboard Club is now in its 50th year, having been formed in 1963. Like many clubs it has had mixed fortunes and changed names and venues many times. They currently have their home in the 'Roundswell Community Centre' which is part of the Sainsburys complex on the outskirts of Barnstaple close to the A39 (The Atlantic Highway). The Club enjoys a very supportive membership enabling top artistes to be engaged to entertain. Barnstaple and North Devon in particular attract many visitors at all times of the year -- if you are one of these, why not check out their programme and pay them a visit. They can assure you of a warm welcome.
North Devon CTC are based in Barnstaple, and have a regular programme of Sunday rides. The rides start at 10.00am and the start point alternates between Barnstaple outside the North Devon Museum (opp.clock tower), Dolton Beacon (north of Winkleigh) or Bideford at Chapel Cottage, Landcross. Anybody is welcome to join and they are advised to take a drink and packed lunch. North Devon CTC member, Paul Zink, has compiled many cycle routes and uses GPS navigation on his bike. Fun and exercise in the great outdoors, taking in the spectacular North Devon sights.
