This place surprised me of its beautiful decor, cute fauna variety and an amazing dinosaur section added to it. We were lucky to see all the animals relaxing in the sun & the interactive dinosaurs roaring with realistic bodily movements. Whether you love The Lion King or Jurassic Park, this place is a must!

A lot of work on going for new animals so expansion is coming. Not the most accessible for a pushchair in every area though. The meerkat experience was great as was the keeper with us!

Can't believe we haven't been here sooner! This has been one of the best days out. Great value for money, dinosaur part to the park is brilliant, wildlife park is also great, clean and well kept, food is lovely, play areas are so much fun and then on the way out had the lovely surprise of the splash park being open. Will 100% be signing up for a membership! So worth it!

I love Birling Gap and have been there many times over the years but it really needs to be visited outside of popular times because it just gets so busy these days!

I was last there Saturday evening in order to catch the sunset and sat on a bench in front of the closed Cafe. Like so many NT sites the Trust closes the cafe early and really misses a trick in not keeping this open through the evening - if only at the weekends! Birling Gap remains quite busy right till the sun goes down and there is a captive audience for hot drinks on cool evenings and cold drinks on hot ones!!!

Anyway, I remember when the cafe and visitor's centre was built but it now looks distinctly shabby - and not in a chic way! It seems that nobody has done any maintenance on it for a very long time.

The paintwork is all peeling - which you might expect from the environment - but there is no excuse for dirty windows, litter, roof tiles lying on the ground and missing gutters. All that has happened over a long length of time and been ignored.

I am a National Trust member and have never seen such a dilapidated property in their care before. I also question why it was 1. built in timber and 2. not given decent weather protection to the paintwork.

Until such time that it is repaired or replaced in its entirety, maybe a bit of tidying -up and basic repairs could be done?!

Please take this year's Direct Debit towards the cost of a window cleaner...

Always lived coming here, great day out, not as many big cats as they used to have, but understandable due to covid, still worth going, and not bad entry price either
