I used to go a few times. But it got too expensive! Thats the only thing that put us off. Some enclosures the cages were empty . But after spending so much to get in and they even charge under 5s full price! Youre greeted with like a mini amusements that you have to pay for on top. A few more feet £2 per child to find gold. Then more money for tiny rides. A family thats just paid over £60 to get in they place childrens rides etc and made to pay more. Thats before you find the animals. Theres a mini farm. That you can find for free in other areas but kids like interaction. VERY VERY EXPPENSIVE FOR SUCH A SMALL ENCLOSURE!!!

had a great day out with family at this park. Staff service great, ideal place for kids as they can feed more unusual animals like zebras.
The one thing that sticks in my mind though is the poor raccoons that were pacing back and forth just like you see when the poor animal is going mad through boredom. Please do something for these seemingly forgotten animals as they must be in real distress.

We went to PWP on Sunday and took part in the Tickle the Tapirs encounter. We had a really good time and learnt a lot. It was really nice to go behind the scenes and see the animals up close. Our 'guide' was really good and answered all our questions. And the tapirs were lovely animals, really docile and very happy to be tickled. The zoo is quite small but it's a nice size as you don't get too tired walking round (so especially good for those with small children that can't walk as far!) There are lots of 'shows' going on so even if you walk round it quite quickly (probably an hour to hour and a half) there are still other things to see. I would definitely recommend an encounter.

A bit expensive to get in, but once you are in and walking around viewing all the great animals there you soon seem to forget about the price! Took some really great photos today and even managed to capture some of the new baby Red Panda. It was just a shame I couldn't get closer to some of the animals - still there is always next time!

Nice place for young children and families and a variety of animals to see.

Sadley though when we went parts were under construction and concessions were shutting early as it was not to busy. This was a real shame as children could not use all the rides and get gifts and something to eat.

If the park is open to 6pm all concessions should be also especially when you go at 4pm.

Animals in the park are not very exciting, there are not many of them. But playgrounds are good and you can spend as much you like in tumble in the jungle. Will advice to take plenty of water, 500ml cost £1.80 there.
