Another great day out. We typically get to the town early and have breakfast in a cafe around 8am as we've been up for 3 hours by this point. We watch the show and last year stayed for the concert and the fireworks (a long day), whilst also having a look at some of the local businesses close to the beach. I bought a book in a charity shop this year.
But this year, there was no incentive to wait 5 hours for the fireworks after the airshow had finished at 5pm, as The Jungle book, which looked popular with the under 10's, was not for us. But that's just the way it goes.
However, one thing you could change for the better is the catering along the front. There seemed to be only the same offering of burgers and sausage from the same 'brand' caterer along the whole promenade. A missed opportunity I think. If there had been a choice and the ability to have a tasty bite, we would have spent more money before heading home.
We always give to the guys going around with the buckets - See you next year!
PS: the weather was perfect - so some more of the same next year would be great!

My first time to an Airshow and it was fantastic! Well organised, lots to do and the weather on Sunday was incredible! Loved the open air cinema and the nightine Fireflies were the best thing i've seen! Will be returning next year for sure!!

Been coming for over 10 years & always enjoy it. Did notice there wer'nt as many stalls as other years & there are too many selling burger, hot dogs & chips, would be nice to have a bit more variety. Although we do tend to have a meal in a restaurant as we do not like burgers etc. Massive thanks to all the pilots for a great show.

Fantastic overnight stay Sunday so after a day of flying we saw the amazing fireworks display. We have never stayed over before and really enjoyed seeing the night time displays and fireworks.
