We had our wedding ceremony in Hertford Castle and we were absolutely impressed by the outstanding staff at the venue. Jackie was so lovely and helpful and we felt looked after from the moment we spoke on the phone to her to express our interest. Everything was absolutely smooth and as perfect as it could be. We had the loveliest time at Hertford Castle and we would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

We went to feed the snow leopards and had a great time. What an experience! To be so close to a cat that large and have it eat from our hands - wow. It was thrilling.
The experience was early in the day, so we had the rest of the day to see the other animals.
It's a small zoo and we stayed for a few hours.
It's very well run and well organised.
I've rated the zoo 4/5 as the zoo no longer runs the shuttle bus from Broxbourne station. This was a big disappointment as it cost us around £15 each way in a taxi.
Not very environmentally friendly, really. Even a shuttle bus at set times would be reasonable.
Still, the zoo itself is excellent.

Absolutely fantastic. Extremely underrated zoo! There is a wide range of animals to see and you can also pay for special interactions, (tickle a tapir) which are great add ons! You can easily navigate around the park and get up close to some of them which is great!
The dinosaur world is a great perk and makes the zoo unique. Was very impressing. An excellent choice for kids! Great value for money
