Land of the Dinosaurs is amazing, best dinosaur experience we've seen, and we've done a good few having a 4yr old son! Rest of the zoo is good, particularly enjoyed having a coffee whilst the bear climbed around outside the window. Loses a star for the worst hamburger I've possibly ever eaten

I'm elderly and toured the zoo in my mobility scooter. The zoo is totally accessible and beautifully landscaped. Many of the larger zoos could learn something about the layout of enclosures from this zoo. Due to the clever design of the animal enclosures and the spotlessly clean glass viewing ports, we were able to experience all of the animals on display.
The zoo possesses a majestic mature male lion and lioness, quite outstanding. Also featured was a snow leopard and several emus, a gorgeous red panda, all of which were clearly visable and easily photographed. We had coffee and cake whilst watching the antics of a black bear. Lunch in the restaurant was a jacket potato, perfect for the occasion. The dinosaurs, we passed on, so can't comment.

Hertfordshire Zoo is a brilliant day out for all ages. The animal enclosures are well-kept, and you can get surprisingly close to some of the animals, which makes the experience even more special. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and thereโ€™s plenty to do to fill a whole afternoon.

Lovely zoo, with some animals you don't normally see in other zoos. The dinosaur trail is wonderful for young & old alike. Can't wait to visit again!

We visited the zoo today, which is obviously well managed, clean, has interesting and varied wildlife in considered enclosures. The space is well landscaped with beautiful tres and plant life.
The food outlets, on the other hand, were totally unimaginative, with menus and outlets serving what is really only 'junk food'. Terrible.
In an age where caterers are conscious of diet, it would have been wonderful to see a choice of more inspired and healthy fare.
Another minus point for us was, the piped muzak in every area, with two or three tunes bleeding into the same point. A zoo does not need a soundtrack, where there are animals and birds creating their own.

My partner and I had the opportunity to do the Red Panda Experience day yesterday! Was super fun and interactive and just an all round incredible experience. Just wanted to give a massive shout out to Vivien, who lead us through the whole process. You can tell she has lots of love for Ash (and his new girlfriend!) So thank you!!
