Personally I think it is expensive given that you are paying full price for everybody from age 2. That said the zoo element is well maintained and animals arel in good condition, the play areas are good quality and very popular with kids of all ages. Most of the rides etc, aimed at younger children, are free so not much to pay once you are inside

Lovely Zoo and adventure play park. Small rides up to about age 12. Lots of play areas and splash park. I love Drucillas but it is very expensive at £35 a ticket, same price for adults and children over 2 which is crazy. Children should be cheaper

Lovely place to visit. Castle tour is worth it. Good that parking is included in the entrance fee. Lovely gardens.

I've got a ridiculous number of childhood memories there...... the earth section is truly outstanding, the gardens are beautiful and the arcade area is really good fun. There's also a large garden centre and cafe with a miniature railway that takes you around the gardens. While I took it for granted as a child I now realise it's an extremely unique and special place and I'd highly recommend a visit there!

A fascinating insight into evolution - amazing fossil collection and rather cool botanic garden hidden away. And, the little train is a must for all ages to see the park. Rounded off with a great coffee and freshly baked cake. What more could one ask? Fab!

Manages to combine a well stocked garden centre a fun and educational (if a bit dated at times) place for a family day out. The annual family pass, which allows you to take friends along for free, is great value.
