Fantastic place with lots to see and do for children and adults alike.
Let's break it down.
Ample free parking on site.
Nice and clean toilets block to left of entrance.
Garden Centre well stocked and usual prices.
Miniature train rides. Very well priced with an enthusiastic and fun train driver. Children and wife loved it, especially the screaming with joy through the tunnel!
Cafe on site -well priced and a good selection for foods on offer. We spent circa £50 for a slap up lunch and drinks for 4 people.
Good selection of Gluten free options and lots of help from knowledgeable staff woth the cakes.
With myself and my son are celiac, so the optio to have (delicious) Gluten free cake was a real winner for us.
Plenty of vegetarian options too.

Paradise Park. - the area you need to pay for-.
An excellent and informative museum style area from the front desk literally filled with artifacts and history, but with the added bonus of interactive dinosaurs and many exhibits to touch/see/play with and immerse yourselves I. The experience.
This leads to a large glasshouse packed full of exotic plants and water features from palms to cactus and an extensive collection of beautiful flowering plants from Bird of paradise through pelargoniums.
To the right is a large outside play area with slides, swings and jumping pad, not to mention benches and crazy golf (at a small additional cost) and inside there is softplay for children up to 12 yrs old and a good selection of aralcade games and driving experiences, most at 2x tokens each (works out at 60p).
This all leads onto a dinosaur area with large scale models of dinosaurs amongst dense bamboo plantings which is great fun to walk around.
Further along is a plethora of paths leading around some of Sussex most famous buildings and landmarks, each well planted up and displayed.
A few items were looking tired and the ponds clearly need some work and pumps cleaned, but there is good sign of upkeep and things being replaced when broken.
The only area that let's the park down, is the old shooting range beside the children's park. You used to pay to use pretend rifles to shoot little targets and animations would move/squire water etc. Now it just sits covered in dust, with many/all of the models broken and even missing heads, which is quite disturbing!
A quick clean out would surly sort this 1 area out and improve the whole space.
All in all, an excellent day out for the family with lots to see and do.

They have done a fabulous refurb recently and still adding in extra outdoor areas, this is a great place to spend the day and good value for money, there is also a local museum next door that is lovely to pop into! Highly recommend, especially in good weather as the outdoor gardens are fantastic to walk around, plenty of history to read about and a sweet train ride behind the cafe also!
