Soft play was great, not sure about charging the adults and not the children considering there the ones using the amenities

A very good garden centre with a large variety of stock providing all you need for the garden and some for home too. The cafe was busy but service was still quick and the cakes are very nice. Worth a visit of you're in the area. There is also a dinosaur area separate from the centre as you have to pay, didn't go this time but have in the past and it's a good trip with children of they're into dinosaurs.

Lovely place to visit. Loads for kids to do. The cafe was very busy and food took quite a while to come out, but it was good. Note that if you go to the cafe or on the train, you seemingly have to go all the way out of the garden centre and show your ticket to get back in. Will definitely visit again.

Update: returned after a few years now the kids are bigger and can enjoy more of whats on offer. Although dated in parts, it actually adds to the charm of the place. Its kind of nostalgic family day out.

In there you have a walk round of various different fossils and artifacts, some real some cast. From shark teeth to geodes. Dinosaurs and astronauts.

They have life-size dinosaurs and plenty of them, raptors, triceratops, t-rex and many more.

There is an earthquake simulator which is fun, although the little ones didn't enjoy it so much, I fully expect bigger ones would though!

Soft play and arcade games, working sit on train that does a loop outside of which you can also walk through route of you wanted, just, is quite difficult to fine how to get to the walking route as there isn't much signage. Some maps of the place are needed or better signage

Indoor cafe with good food and good selection of drinks. Enough choice for little ones which you don't often find. From ordering to delivery was 30 minutes (sunday).

There is even more to explore such as indoor botanicals and outside play area.

If you take out membership before you leave you get your day tickets refunded

It's a nice place but quite dated. Could do with a cash injection to bring it up to date

It's my go-to shop for birthday cards as well as plants and garden accessories. Competitively priced. Not cheap - nowhere is round here - but good value.
