AFG LAW launched a design competition for Bolton College art students to create a ‘Welcome to your new home’ card which they give to clients who they have assisted with the purchase of a new home. They were delighted with the entries and Jordan Heathcote, aged 17, produced the winning design which was selected by Anita Boardman and Carl Fletcher from AFG LAW’s property department. Jordan is from Farnworth and is studying a BTEC level 3 diploma in Interactive Media.

Jill Parratt, family law solicitor and mediation specialist at Bolton’s AFG LAW, is offering free family mediation services for a limited time. Jill is registered as an ‘All Issues’ accredited family mediator with Resolution, which was formally known as the Solicitors Family Law Association (SFLA). She has received specialised training in family mediation. Before court proceedings can occur in a divorce or separation a client must attend an initial mediation appointment.
