Not everyone knows that there is a little arts theatre tucked away on the NK School/Leisure Centre site, in the middle of North Hykeham, but it's well worth a visit! The theatre is quite intimate, about a couple of hundred seats and has a really interesting selection of stuff to see. Our family loves the children's theatre programme and the community panto in January is always excellent, but there's also good drama, music and dance - really good names, too. Best of all there's free parking and the tickets are very reasonably priced. A family of 4 can see a children's show for just £20 - bargain!

For a great night out in Staffordshire, see what's on at Lichfield Garrick Theatre and Studio. A popular theatre with a rolling programme of theatrical performances, comedy, music, dance, pantomimes and more, there really is something for the whole family. Whilst you're waiting for the performance, The Green Room Cafe serves some great food as well as alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
First time at this venue right in the centre of Litchfield. Currently undergoing a refurb. Staff were very helpful. Great view from my chosen seat. Watched "Get it On" a glam rock act consisting of the son of the lead singer from Sweet. Not a tribute act. Entertaining but sadly if only their talent matched their enthusiasm. It was still a good night out.
