All children are given access to National Curriculum programmes of study at appropriate levels to help them progress and develop their abilities to the full. The school gives high priority to the core National Curriculum subjects of English, Maths, Science, and Information Communication Technology. Children also learn History, Geography, Personal, Social and Health Education, Design and Technology, Art, RE, Music and Physical Education. French is taught throughout the school. We are proud of our methods of assessing children's progress and use this information to help them further. Parents are given regular information on the development of their children. There are opportunities in school to learn to play a wide range of instruments, sing in the choir, or join in drama, dance and art clubs. Specialist facilities The school offers specialist provision to enable full access to a differentiated National Curriculum leading to accreditation at Entry Level and GCSE. Each class (maximum 10 pupils) has an allocated specilist teacher, speech and language therapist, and at least one learning support assistant. Support services provided On-site Occupational Therapists (sensory integration trained) and Physiotherapists support pupils individually and/or in class.
