Katie did a fabulous job at helping us design a layout to link an annexe to the house coming up with ideas we hadn’t thought of, working together we were able to come up with a plan that is now coming together nicely! The whole team are very professional and helped us along the way with regards to planning and building regulations. Would highly recommend Binney & Sims to anyone thinking planning home extensions!!

The service from Binney and sims was excellent. katie was happy to make changes to the drawings when I changed my mind. perfect advice when required and always listened to what I wanted from the plans for my extension. Drawings were completed exactly when required and made the build process much easier due to the clear dimensions and details.

Katie and Heather helped us to design our L-shaped extension on the back of our house and a small one on the front. Their suggestions were really helpful and led to a much better design than we originally planned on. They also helped us with our structural engineer when we couldn't get hold of them and helped us find the right trades for the job. Fully recommend their services

We visited on a very hot Saturday evening intending to sit out in the shaddy garden - and, had a warm welcome from the moment we stepped through the door.
Service and ambience was really great - but, the food was even better. I am getting fed up with pubs and restaurants reducing the size of their servings - and generally order extra side dishes to make up for this. We'll, there was no need to do this at The Crown. The quality and quantity of the food was superb. We had garlic mushrooms and whitebait to start and burger and pork chop for mains. It was really honest, tasty and well presented food. We'll definately return.

Four of us enjoyed a Sunday roast lunch here. Portions were substantial: both pork and beef were succulent, the veggie option tasty (mushrooms with loads of stilton) but perhaps a bit on the heavy side. Vegetables that came with the roast were particularly good: four varieties, not overcooked - full marks to the chef for those. Yorkshire puddings were impressively light. Of the desserts the rhubarb creme brulée was especially tasty. The pub was very busy and service was several times a little forgetful, but the predominantly young team were cheery, good-natured and willing. As pub Sunday roast lunches go, this was well above average, and is thoroughly recommended.
