On arrival the staff were welcoming. I hadn’t pre booked a table for a evening meal. The pub was busy inside with dinners but outside in the extensive garden courtyard area it was quite.
I opted for the garden area.The service was good and the staff were happy to have a conversation.
The food was very nice and portions to satisfy the majority of people.I would recommend the venue for a visit.

Just wanted to say what a wonderful Sunday lunch today for my birthday! The staff, food, wine and atmosphere was out of this world! It was busy and the staff did an amazing job!<br>I used to visit years ago with my Granny and Grandad and it’s full of wonderful memories and today certainly didn’t disappoint!<br>We cannot for the next time!<br>Thank you!

Love this pub. Outside Pizza oven is a huge success. Pizzas are delicious. The chef who prepares them is a credit to your establishment. All staff are friendly, all make a fuss of my children and our dog.<br>The Crown really is our happy place. 😊
