Having just come back from spending 5 nights at OGH I wanted to share. We were lucky enough to be given a balcony room with a sea view. The room and the facilities were exceptional. From the moment we arrived and the hire car was valet parked. Every member of staff without exception was so helpful and friendly. The meals in the hotel were fantastic, we particularly enjoyed the breakfasts. I also had a treatment in the spa and again can say probably one of the best facials I've ever had. We have stayed in Guernsey many times, but staying at this hotel made the experience so special. I hope we get to stay here again. 💓

What a wonderful hotel, from the moment you step through the door to the end of your visit. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. The rooms are all to an extremely high standard with wonderful decor. Lots of places to sit in the lounge area or garden. It's very nostalgic and is like stepping back in time. Would definitely recommend and return.

What a lovely hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was amazing, immaculately clean and very luxurious. We enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in the Brassiere and delicious cocktails in the Crown bar. The service was not always fast but efficient and unhurried. A truly relaxing experience. We had a fantastic stay.

We stopped by the Old Government House Hotel and Spa for a drink and afternoon tea. The property was amazing. While we were there, the font desk manager Andi gave us a tour of the hotel...wow...I wish I would have stayed here.

Old Government House is perfectly positioned in the lovely town of St Peter Port although there are hills to climb. The staff were very welcoming and our stay was delightful. We had a room with an excellent view and a balcony. The ensuite facility was on the small side.

My partner and I recently visited Guernsey, me for the first time and my partner for the second time. I discovered that Guernsey is a beautiful island made even better by this superb hotel. Our room was really lovely and the bed a joy to get into and less of a joy to leave in the mornings! The food was excellent and the staff always friendly, courteous and helpful. We took our car and the car valeting was a joy. Just a couple of minutes notice and our car would appear outside like magic! We will certainly be visiting again.

A perfect, faultless stay, including excellent service at Reception. The attention to detail, excellent breakfast, impeccable staff, high standard of service and extra touches are what a great stay is all about. As ever OGH was wonderful. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Outdoor pool was put to good use and food was as good as ever. I leave feeling pampered and relaxed. Location is perfect for exploring St Peters Port, an easy stroll down to the waterfront.

From the genuine friendly welcome of the reception staff to the exceptional service we received in all area's of the Hotel, the OGH has to be one of the top Hotels we have ever stayed in, The room was beautiful, view stunning, private balcony, we had a superb freshly cooked breakfast each morning within the walled garden, as for the location we found it perfect for sightseeing - we will return!
