Hi ,

Well, what a few weeks we've got coming up!

And looking at the weather forecast, you might enjoy the prospect of enjoying most (if not all) of the actiion while under cover.

Unless you live 'under a rock', you've probably heard that THE 2026 WINTER OLYMPICS from 'Milano Cortina' officially start with the Opening Ceremony tomorrow (although some events have already taken place!) and run until 22nd February.

But if the thrills of skiing etc is 'not your thing', you will probably prefer the competitive national pride of arguably the GREATEST RUGBY TOURNAMENT - THE SIX NATIONS which starts in Paris TODAY and runs until 15th March.

The good news is, you can watch all the action of both BIG events at various PUBS and CLUBS across the region with your favourite beer or tipple, great food and an abundance of atmosphere with friends, foes and loyal national banter! These events SHOULD NOT BE WATCHED AT HOME!

And if that's not enough, THE LEICESTER COMEDY FESTIVAL got underway yesterday and to remind you it comes to the HARBOROUGH district next Wed 11th February -Sun 15th February. Across various venues, but mostly at Harborough Market which will be transformed for the occasion, I greatly encourage you to get tickets if you haven't already and to 'HAVE A GOOD LAUGH' because at the risk of getting sued for breaching copyright, 'you're worth it'!

There's loads more going on. You'll have to see DUNCAN MURRAY's newsletter here to catch all their upcoming Tastings, 'Wunderbar' dates, Wine Courses and much more even including a BOOGIE NIGHT on Valentine's night!
