Firstly, I hope you had a great Christmas break and that Santa was kind to you! And let me wish you a very Happy New Year.

So here we are in 2024 with probably a few broken new year resolutions which always seemed like a good idea at the time. But some will have put away the razors for a month and are diligently indulging in JANU-HAIRY, while others will have noticed that this 'DRY JANUARY' lark seems to be dragging on a bit! But whatever your sacrifice this month, I wish you 'good luck'!

I know the weather's not been so great of late, but January is of course a month of retail Sales, and I'm sure you'll want to get out and look for the best bargains around town. It seems loads of shops and small businesses have some great deals to offer, so don't miss out just because of a bit of rubbish weather.

And if you're looking for things to do, maybe it's a good time to check out the local theatres and cinemas. KILWORTH HOUSE THEATRE has a great programme of upcoming shows, including a brilliant NEIL DIAMOND (Tribute) ACT on February 9th. And even closer to home, HARBOROUGH THEATRE has a great programme too, starting with HA HA COMEDY NIGHTS (Sat 6th Jan and Sat 10th Feb).
