Hi Do you love our local beaches but hate the amount of litter on them? The SAS Autumn Beach Clean is a family beach-cleaning event for all ages. On Saturday there will be clean-ups on Smuggler’s Rest beach, Telscombe Cliffs (10am-12pm) and Rottingdean beach (11am-1pm). On Sunday, there’s a bumper beach clean by the Meeting Place Café on Hove Lawns (12-3pm). All the equipment you need is provided. On Saturday, the Mesmerist pub in St Albert Street is throwing a party commemorating “The Day of the Dead” with music by the appropriately named Black Kat Boppers. There will also be a DJ playing 50sand 60s vinyl, as well as professional make-up artists to help make sure you look the part.
