We stayed here for two nights prior to a wedding and were very pleased with location, ease of parking, friendly staff, room standard, public areas and the very good breakfast.
I also used the in house hairdresser, Wendy at Jiggis who was brilliant.
If you struggle to sleep with noise then avoid the rooms close to the lifts.

Stayed for two nights whilst visiting friends. Lovely clean hotel with a nice reception area and seating areas so you can sit and relax without having to sit in your room. Staff we dealt with were pleasant and friendly. We did not eat at the hotel so I cannot comment on the food or restaurants. Room was spacious and the bed was amazing, huge and very, very comfy!!! Nice bathroom and plenty of storage space in the room too, also included an iron and ironing board and also a fan!! Would stay here again and would recommend. Only disappointment was that there was a problem with the pool in the spa so could not use it, but not a big deal.

Got a great deal for 2 nights, wouldn't pay the normal rate as it's just not that special. Disappointed with no pitch view as I think that is the selling point of this hotel. Wifi terrible, could not get connected the whole time. Unfortunately the pool was out of action for the duration of our stay so couldn't comment on that. Great transport link into Manchester though. Staff average, when checking out never spoke just took the keys. All in all I would not stay here again.

I stayed in a pitch side room a few weeks ago and there happened to be a pre season friendly on. It was great to be able to watch a bit of the match before heading to a wedding in the area. The room was nice and comfortable. It would have been better if there was a mini bar but ha ho the room cost me £60 including breakfast which was fantastic value for money. The breakfast was excellent with loads of choice. I found all the staff to be really friendly and helpful.

A perfect space for weddings, first time I have attended a wedding in this place, when the deco is done and you walk in, wow it's breath taking and I can assure you that you will get a good service, the best thing about it is that it has other floors, there was tea & coffee on the first with a finger buffet and a second floor with more seats and tables for guests, overall we enjoyed our family wedding day.

This hotel is easily accessible by car as it is located just off the M61 motorway, and has a vast car park. My room was clean and reasonably pleasant, but no better than the well-known budget hotel chain where I normally stay. Both check-in and check-out were perfunctory - I wasn't asked if I'd enjoyed my stay. Lack of time prevented me from using the sauna, pool or steam room, so I cannot comment on these, nor did I eat or drink in the hotel.

The hotel is part of the Bolton Wanderers football stadium, and much is made of the fact that - apparently - some rooms overlook the pitch. I don't see the benefit of this unless (a) you're a football fan, (b) you are staying when a match is on, and (c) you manage to get yourself allocated such a room.

All in all, a perfectly adequate hotel without being anything special.

I have used this hotel on previous occasions. This vist was marked by a lot of new staff. All were attentive and courteous. The rooms are fairly basic but comfortable and every needed is available. The food is a Paul Heathcote Grill and my meal was well presented and of a good standard. My vist was on a match night, but the service didn't suffer. My only observation that for the standard of hotel and food by an renown chef, I was surprised at the food hygiene rating of 4

We have stayed at this hotel frequently ever since it opened when we have been visiting family nearby. It has gone through good and bad times. The room we stayed in this time was very poor as it smelt of smoke from people smoking outside just below the window (which was not open). It was also very noisy late at night from people leaving a function in the same building.
The food has improved since Heathcotes took over this service and breakfast is better than it used to be.
Unfortunately we arrived on a match day and the bar was heaving but the staff did well to clean up after everyone had gone into the ground.

Overall, the venue was excellent.
Staff were all friendly and welcoming - a good sign of customer focus in hospitality.
The room was good with cleanliness and all the things I would need for a wedding reception I was attending; ie, iron, good bathroom, storage space. I stayed with family and felt our in-room needs were taken care of.
The TV displayed standard freeview terrestrial channels - good signal. However, with the venue being home to Bolton Wanderers FC, I would have expected a more informational or interactive menu, at least giving me options to view the hotels facilities and events. Being able to book the restaurant from the TV or arrange a late check-out would have been a nice touch, as well as possibly knowing the Team's fixtures for the season. TVs in the public areas could have also displayed useful hotel information. All this would have added to the guest experience, especially due to the location and venue.

The Restaurant looked lovely with a great view of the football pitch. We didn't dine there but I'm sure other guests would have valued the experience.
The bar area was also well presented. Only observation, was that the TVs were too small for matches on them.

The hotel was located within walking distance of many shops, bars and restaurants, so I was happy. Parking was good too as it was on-site.

Thank you Bolton Whites.

We stayed here for 1 night before we went to the food and drink festival at Bolton. Absolutely fantastic, room lovely with a view of the pitch and the staff were lovely and very helpful.
Can't even think of one single negative thing about our stay.
