A short business trip to Guernsey accompanied by the missus and a stay at OGH courtesy of my clients, thank you. Have passed it before but never stayed there and found it be completely top notch. Warm, courteous, under-stated and efficient welcome.
We were offered an executive queen room, well appointed with good view of the harbour. The missus rates hotels on bathrooms - and she was completely satisfied, so I was satisfied.
Very centrally located with just a few hundred yards or so down to the port. Unfortunately, we didn't eat there (more about where we went in another review), but the restaurant looked very good indeed and we had breakfast there the next day. Very polite and helpful staff. Nothing special at breakfast, but a decent cold buffet and a good range of hot dishes; porridge, salmon scrambled eggs,full English etc.

Why I Switched: Features and Pricing
I originally decided to move to systeme.io because it offers virtually all the features I was using (and wanted to use) on my previous platform, but at a substantially lower price. It was a no-brainer value proposition, but once I made the leap, I discovered an even bigger win: the interface is remarkably clean and easy to use.

Transitioning platforms under a tight deadline is always stressful. When I started the process, I had just three weeks left on my contract with my old platform.
• Time Zone Adjustments: Being located in US Central Time while support operates out of Europe meant there was a slight time lag between responses. While 24/7 support is available, the back-and-forth communication added a bit of lead time.
• Domain Transfer: To ensure everything moved smoothly and on schedule, I hired someone myself to help for the bulk of the migration. The systeme.io team handled the domain name transfer on their end (which took a little more time than I thought due to the time zone difference probably), but we successfully beat the deadline just in time!

A Quick Note on Email Deliverability Controls: Initially, systeme.io held back the batch and sent it to just 79 recipients first to run an internal compliance/anti-spam check. While it felt a bit restrictive in the moment, I actually appreciate this level of control—it protects domain reputation and deliverability across the platform.
