Family holiday, stayed here for a week in July, all I can really say is this is just a fantastic hotel. Beautiful building and gardens.The rooms were lovely but the ones we had were quiet small. Very nice outside pool, gym and spa area. All staff are friendly and approachable, the reception staff are very knowledgeable of the local area, and are willing to help with all requests. The food in all bars / restaurants is delicious with great service. This hotel is in a perfect location for St Peter Port town and seafront which are a few minutes walk away. Perfect holiday, no complaints and would certainly stay again in the future.

What an amazing place, a truly beautiful hotel with authentic lighting, paintings etc. The staff are amazing, helpful, knowledgable & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Centrally located in St Peter Port. Valet parking makes life easy!

Stopped here before last September couldn't fault anything so we decided to go for the new year this year Arrived on the 30th December until the 2nd January 2017 new year's eve gala was amazing food to die for. service & staff faultless. would highly recommended this hotel for any thing and for any one.

I was spoiled enough to stay at the OGH for five nights this January. I loved the classic style mixed with modern comfort. The cleanliness was superb, and I didn't find anything dirty during my entire stay.
The nightly turn-down meant I came back to my room after dinner to a ready bed with newspaper, TV remote and a baked treat sitting on top. Bottled water and tea were always restocked. My dry cleaning also made it back into my closet the next day.
The breakfast was delicious, and I wished I could have sampled more of the food at the Brasserie.
The staff were professional and friendly, and they were more than willing to help with any request.
I will request to be booked at the OGH on any future trips to Guernsey.

We ate here with family and were so pleasantly surprised. Fab food and what a unique way of experiencing a superb variety of Asian flavours. Quality of food was superb and service excellent. Would definitely recommend and will be back when next in the area. Thanks for a lovely evening

My husband and I were staying in Market Harborough for the evening and we ate here based on reviews we’d read. We are glad we did. The food was delicious. The place and staff were great too. We had 6 dishes between us which was perfect. We particularly enjoyed the duck boa roll and the chilli beef. Thank you.
