Welcome:
I had booked a table at this restaurant after reading the fantastic reviews it had received on trip advisor. I was warmly welcomed on entering this beautiful restaurant and brought to my table
Menu :
The menu was brought out by the manager Pradip who kindly helped navigate the menu and helped me choose some absolutely amazing dishes .
Meal :
I had both the Chicken Tika and the Sheekh kebab as starters and both were amazing cooked perfectly .
For the mains I had a chicken dish that was recommended , aloo paratha, and a veg side dish . The mains were absolutely stunning .For desert I had Kulfi.
Drinks:
I enjoyed a Kingfisher beer and a salted Laasi( super thick and delicious)
Overall:
The manager checked I was happy and enjoyed every aspect of my meal and was truly wonderful. 5 star hotel restaurants around the globe have a lot to learn from Pradip who happened to be both the manager and owner of this wonderful restaurant and another branch in Loughborough.
I would give restaurant 11 out of 10 . It is truly exceptional !!!! Highly recommended

This restaurant is still excellent . brilliant dishes, beautifuly presented , and staff that are very kind , helpful and truly want you to enjoy your experience . The manager Pradip has maintained the highest standards at this restaurant .. I would highly recommend this restaurant

The service at the restaurant was amazing. All the servers were so kind and helpful. Our server was Siya. He was excellent. He was so sweet to the three of us. We absolutely loved him and our whole experience at The Brasserie Resturaunt at the Old Government House.

Luxurious hotel. Real 5 star. Everything was great, the food, the service, but above all the room. We had the afternoon tea while we were there and it was excellent. We also had a meal in their curry restaurant which we really enjoyed.
Taxis are pretty hard to get on Guernsey. If you’re arriving by ferry, with a light case on wheels, you can walk to the OGH in 10-15 minutes. But you need to get the directions before you leave home as it’s not signposted. Otherwise, ask the hotel to arrange a car for you. There won’t be taxis waiting when you arrive.

The guys at panacea really pulled out all the stops for us when purchasing the a3 saloon,
My partner was very anxious about searching for the right car and this place was brilliant.

A lovely pub and sweet helpful staff but very disappointing food. Four of us went for lunch and none of us felt that the food was satisfactory. Chicken schnitzel was extremely overcooked and consequently dry and tough. Eton Mess had half a strawberry in it! and lots of blackberry conserve.
Prices were on the high side but the standard of cooking did not match them.

Very pleasant stop for afternoon tea at this hotel. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful and the tea was not overpriced considering what a beautiful setting this was overlooking the harbour. I had the vanilla earl grey tea, a first and two types of scones with cream and jam.
Particular shout out to the hotel employee, Syia from South Africa, he could not have been better and is a credit to this family friendly hotel chain.
