Han catered for our dietary requirements - we had a vegan and a gluten free diet in our group and both were looked after amazingly. I had the Monks Banquet vegan-ised and it was the best Chinese food ever. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Stayed here for five nights celebrating a big birthday!
A beautiful hotel, in a great location. The food was excellent, especially the breakfasts. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. Our only criticism is the wardrobe door (with cupboard space and the safe) couldn’t open fully as it opened into the bedside table so made it awkward to use. I would stay again, but a different room, we had Queen room.

Having popped out for a last minute dinner we came across a busy Everest Lounge. Unsure whether we would even get a table we were promptly sat down and able to order.
The menu all looked delicious, with some interesting traditional Nepalese and Tibetan dishes. We had two of the chefs specials, Nepalese dishes, they were both amazing and very tasty.
The staff were very accommodating and extremely efficient and friendly, nothing was any trouble.
Thank you very much, we will be back.

Arrived at a busy restaurant at our booked time and after some time checking of our reservation we were seated, unfortunately our experience didn’t match the reviews we had read and which prompted us to book! Very slow service; no happy staff: food was very spicy even on mildest dishes, minimal level of service and no offer of a desert menu - left feeling disappointed i’m afraid!

We visited The Crown twice over three days it was so good. The service is excellent- very friendly and welcoming and the food is wonderful. The menu is reassuringly small but well thought out and the specials change daily. We tried the steak, burger, lamb rump, fish and chips and pork chop and would happily eat any of them many times over. And we all agreed that the crumble was just epic.
