Although we were disappointed with several things during our stay ,the excellent staff and the way things were dealt wit
location,pleasant bar area,good size rooms ,free and plentiful car parking,great staff
the furnishings were a little tired and at the end of their lifespan ,particularly the bed and sofa, although they weren’t dirty or shabby just a bit saggy, no fridge in the room,Wi-Fi was incredibly poor on the upper floors and there were no plug sockets or usb points by the bed. However,having spoken to the brilliant staff and the Front of House Manager we have learned that extensive refurbishment is due to take place quite soon and that the hotel will be partnering with a prestigious ,upmarket hotel group in the near future.

Went to watch Bolton Wanderers so the accommodation was ideal.
Very nice staff. Room ready on time. Everything went well
Since everything went well little to add. Everyone did their job as best they could. did not go to find fault. Although a miserable old git and gformer trade union member I always support the staff!

lovely stay and husband wants to return
pitchview room and four star worthy
prices for accommodation and food and drinks where very high compared to the quality of the above items and also compared to hotels with the same star rating and amenities

Breakfast was good, pitch view was brilliant, bedroom was too hot , hotel not covid secure ,
We liked the pitch view , we liked the breakfast . The covid protection was poor , the rooms were small to what we expected .
No staff other than the male receptionist and breakfast staff wore a mask for protection of covid , the lady on reception told us that we didn’t need to wear a mask when I asked why the majority of staff wasn’t wearing a mask , ( she was actually exempt) from wearing one ) but we felt that the hotel wasn’t keeping to the standards of protection from covid . We was very poor , especially with the amount of guests that would travel through the hotel .

great base
requested a bottle of bubbly in my room for my birthday to find banners & a card too! very lovely surprise. Room was ok for the money, curtains didn’t quite reach so room was very light first thing but it was clean & tidy, we also got room service which was lovely!

Perfect!
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful (nothing too much trouble). The hotel was spotless. We had lunch in the bar which was very tasty, well presented and good value for money. I would recommend this property to anyone.
NOTHING There was nothing to dislike about this property.
