Location was good.
Outdated rooms that are in need of an update. They haven't bern touched since being built. Cracked tiles in bathroom, flaking paint. Musty smell in the room as if it's been used by smokers and not cleaned. Bed wasn't the comfiest.

Pleasant Stay
We were met by a charming lady Alison at reception who checked us in and gave complimentary hyphen kit for us. She informed us about the bar & dinning area location and how to get to our room. At check out she asked if we needed receipt & how our stay was. I have traveled from Taiwan to Glasgow and stayed in many hotels around the world including the Far East I found Bolton Whites Hotel to be in the top 10 Alison was great and they hotel is very roomy. Thank you Whites Hotel & Alison

Really good
Welcoming and accommodating reception staff, ample space in room, many towels and easy to get more on request, shampoo and body gel, complimentary tea and coffee, easy to come and leave
It was very hot in the room and there was no working a/c and no windows to open. Staff did provide a fan.
