Great spot close to everywhere I needed rivington the Pennines all the reservoirs ,train lines , shops .food was ok breakfast was great loads of choice staff pleasent all seemed new starts wasn't sure how the tills worked how to make tea but hey we all start somewhere lol even one of the mangers didn't no how the till worked .but it was a pleasant stay pool area and gym area is nice only thing was the bins were full of nappies.one guy was very helpful showed me round the area but the girl on the desk when I came the next morning wasn't so helpful just had her face glued to her mobile .other than that I had no faults with my stay.

Excellent green Thai curry. Beautiful flavours and freshly cooked, 10/10. Would highly recommend this meal from the menu. Well above the standard of usual room service meals. A very pleasant surprise.

Booked at the last minute over the phone lovely helpful people couldn't help enough, even managed to book a double room with an absolutely amazing view- of the pitch couldn't have asked for better shame we had already bought our tickets would have done 2 nights not one in hindsight. It's an absolute gem where you would least expect it to be if cc there again next year and we get through deffo convincing the better half to book 2 nights not 1 wasn't far from subway or harverlster either.

We stayed overnight as we were visiting family. We could only book a box room. As the rugby was on the shutters were down which was a shame although they opened them up straight after but we were out. Room was comfortable and no issues. Would have been nice to have had a fridge in room but just so we could have stored our babies milk. Breakfast was OK usual buffet style. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Location is superb- retail park next door and £5 taxi into Horwich which has at least 20 quality restaurants
Health club is good - gym too
For £80 B and B - absolutely fabulous value

Excellent friendly hotel staff, made my wife and I very welcome. The lady who greeted us for breakfast was extremely friendly and helpful. Location ideal for what we wanted, added bonus being a football fan got to meet several Bolton Wanderers players

We had a suite on the top floor. Room was huge- the bathroom was huge with both separate bath and shower.
The room was fairly basic but did the job and gave us the space we needed with 2 children.
Breakfast was good plenty of choice and tasted fantastic.
We took over an area of the bar with over 20 family members one evening and this was no problem at all.
The down side was the pool area. It was a bit grim with random bits of tile missing all over the base 👎
All in all good value. However I think it would cost a lot more during the football season.

Staying here for a 5 day break catching up with family, we have watched the Reebok being built brick by brick, I celebrated my 50th birthday party here 10 years ago, so have lots of happy memories of this place. Was a bit apprehensive about booking a room here after all the speculation regarding the situation, I have to say that from checking in to the bar and restaurant service so far has been spot on ! I know it’s my first night here and unless things go down hill from here on then I won’t report !

On check-in we were greeted by a lovely gentleman on reception who was so friendly and helpful. Our deluxe room was lovely. Very spacious, clean and more than we expected. I ate in the bar area, the club sandwich was lovely and the bar staff were so kind, friendly and attentive. The gentleman who cleaned our room, Graham, was so friendly and extremely conscientious, he made sure everything was perfect and that we didn't need anything else before he left A**
The location is great for everything, plenty of free parking on site and the whole of the hotel is spacious.
I keep coming back and am looking forward to my next visit.

Plenty of parking in front of the hotel. Reception welcoming and easy. rooms compact and comfortable. Buffet breakfast very good including the coffee. We always look for a deal. Very competitive price for our stay
