Food was ok, service very slow - they had school kids serving which was weird as they appeared to still be in their school uniforms, the young lad chewed gum horribly all night and definitely needs to improve on serving skills. Lacks atmosphere

Our stay was just two nights and we were using our own car. The only issue here is the cad park, it’s chaos but managed well - it’s a tiny space but it seems most places out here, in the Port, suffer with parking. The hotel has you believing it’s ‘old’ England, a very Victorian feel and in places, quirky.
The room we had was OK, it was tired and not well equipped but it was clean and satisfactory especially because the staff here are probably equal to the most helpful and professional we’ve experienced anywhere else, and we travel a lot! You’re made to feel welcome and valued; service is top class.
We always judge a place by deciding if we’d return; we’ll I’m pleased to say we would, gladly.
