We visited on a very hot Saturday evening intending to sit out in the shaddy garden - and, had a warm welcome from the moment we stepped through the door.
Service and ambience was really great - but, the food was even better. I am getting fed up with pubs and restaurants reducing the size of their servings - and generally order extra side dishes to make up for this. We'll, there was no need to do this at The Crown. The quality and quantity of the food was superb. We had garlic mushrooms and whitebait to start and burger and pork chop for mains. It was really honest, tasty and well presented food. We'll definately return.

Jackie & team are so great! I had a very sentimental necklace made from my mother’s and grandmother’s engagement rings. I went back and forth several times on designs and took a while to make a decision…and there was never any rush or pressure. I could not be more happy with the end result…I hardly ever take it off. Besides bespoke design they do cleanings and watch repair. No matter what the ask or value, you always get the same standout experience. We’re lucky to have them in the area.

We went to Everest Lounge for a family Birthday meal and it did not disappoint. The place itself is well decorated. The food was delicious and the staff were absolutely lovely. They were very accommodating with allergies and they even put up banners and balloons for the Birthday guest.

stayed here several times for the football and it is always my first choice when Im in Bolton
A very comfortable hotel room and excellent breakfast
Sadly the rooms don't benefit from air conditioning and during the recent hot spell it can be a bit too warm at night

Housekeeping staff were very polite and efficient if i had to criticise anything then it would be the measly amount of toilet roll, not replenished for our stay of two nights.

Firstcall is absolutely fantastic!! Josiah helped me find a job that fits my skills and interest. I had a wonderful experience from the beginning of my recruitment process all through to the end. Josiah was extremely helpful and always available to assist with every single thing that I needed. At the time when Josiah was away, Marcel stepped in and assisted in a seamless manner. When I finally relocated, Marcel took me for a cup of coffee and provided me with all the relevant information that would make my stay easy and fun. 10/10 service. I would 100% recommend Firstcall.

Four of us enjoyed a Sunday roast lunch here. Portions were substantial: both pork and beef were succulent, the veggie option tasty (mushrooms with loads of stilton) but perhaps a bit on the heavy side. Vegetables that came with the roast were particularly good: four varieties, not overcooked - full marks to the chef for those. Yorkshire puddings were impressively light. Of the desserts the rhubarb creme brulée was especially tasty. The pub was very busy and service was several times a little forgetful, but the predominantly young team were cheery, good-natured and willing. As pub Sunday roast lunches go, this was well above average, and is thoroughly recommended.

We booked a table to celebrate our daughters 18th birthday, and it was amazing! Lovely food, lovely service and everyone made the birthday girl feel extra special. We will be back again soon
