Sandip and Yurica were absolutely fantastic servers, nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely amazing, such great portions for a fantastic price. The bread with the balsamic glaze was absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend

New restuarant and excited to give it a try. Personally not crazy about Italian food but partner loves it. Warm and friendly greeting when we got there. The inside decor was excellent but we opted to eat in the cabin style seating area outside since the weather was so nice. The outside area is very spacious and well presented and we sat in a log cabin booth (with a resident roosting woodpigeon). Ordered drinks at the outside bar, a little expensive but not crazy, and the beer and wine was very drinkable. However, the food took a very long time to order; I'm not sure if it was the lady's first day but she spent an inordinate amount of time tapping in our order on a touch screen, even though we were asking for standard menu items.
So, here goes with the food. Starters arrived in good time and they were both delicious, shrimp dish and calamari dish, well-cooked and very tasty. Following on, the wait for the entree was very long though, we almost thought we'd been forgotten. When the food finally arrived, my seafood pizza was actually pretty good, but my partner's clam tagliatelle was an utter disaster - dry, tasteless and generally insipid, like it had sat for a hour under a heat lamp. It got sent back and replaced with a pizza that had clearly been hurried because the cheese in the centre was not properly cooked. This got left for the pigeon.
The serving staff however were faultless in the way the complaint was handled. Attentive, polite and helpful. We were offered a refund for the failed entree or a round of drinks plus a choice of dessert; we opted for the latter which arrived as tiramasu and panna cotta - both were excellent.
Overall, the experience was marginally below expectation, but it's clear that they are having early stage problems and confident that this will work its way though given time. This won't stop us from going again and we'll give the restuarant another try when it has a proper chance to bed in.

Visited as had a voucher for £50 off. Beautifully decorated. Staff friendly and efficient. Our server was Ava, she was warm, polite and friendly. We ordered the Carbonara and the Vault Special which was a chicken dish with broccoli and potatoes. Potatoes were lovely, brocoli tasty but under cooked, almost crunchy, chicken which was stuffed was tasty but dry. It was all very hot though and seemed fresh. Carbonara was good. We had a bowl of fries which were enough to share for 2, aldo a cheesy garlic bread which came as 2 separate bread portions, very tasty. 2 pint glasses of lemonade also. Bill should have been £54 in total. Overall a good experience. There are lots to choose from in Harborough, Ashcoughs is better in my opinion but that is also more expensive. Would so go back to Vault & Vine without a voucher? not sure but worth a try.

Brilliant restaurant in a converted old bank. The old NatWest in Market Harborough. Lovely space and the food is excellent too. Staff also friendly, we’re coming back.

Could be a great restaurant but overall I was a bit disappointed with this experience. The positives included polite staff, beautiful vaulted ceiling, Nice beer on tap (the Yeastie boys) and reasonably priced.
To make this place place shine the interior ambience could be improved. The interior vaulted ceiling is a feature of the venue but the inside of the building was lit up rather grotesquely - just too bright. Although very polite the floor staff were not hugely experienced - no offer to taste the wine for example. Get rid of the advertising flag out the front - it looks tacky.
The food was average in my opinion. I'm not even sure I would classify the menu as Italian. I felt I could re-produce a majority of what our table was served myself which is not not you are looking for when you go out for dinner. There were elements of the meal that showed a lack of class - i.e. serving childrens luncheon meat on a pizza and plastic desert glasses.
Unfortunately expectations were not met.

This was our second visit to Vault and Vine.
The menu has recently been updated and is now much better than when first opened.
The meal was lovely, the staff were attentive and the decor is definitely very nice

Staff were friendly. Food is classically Italian, simple ingredients but high quality. Menu has a lot of variety to cover off everyones needs. Will definitely be returning.

Service was very good and the toilets immaculate. The environment was on initial impression smart and bright. High ceilings though made it extremely echoey and loud and long bench seats gave it an appearance of a school food hall. Food was mediocre and 3 out of our 4 meals were average - lacking depth of flavour although the pasta was well cooked. Shame, we had high hopes which were sadly unfulfilled.
