We love Guernsey and 'The OGH' as it is known locally. After some consideration of other hotels we decided to return, for our 5th visit, to The OGH. Not much has changed since our last stay except a really convivial enlarged bar. It was needed since it is a popular watering hole. This new facility continues albeit in a more contempory style the 'Gentlemens' Club' ambiance.
Our room, albeit one of their smaller ones was spotless, comfortable and the en-suite larger than in many hotels.
The public spaces, landings, terrace, garden, lounge, bar and restaurant are all lovely spaces in which to linger, relax and enjoy. Not a place to rush.
All the staff are friendly and helpful. However we did feel on this visit the standard of service in the restaurant was not quite as good as it was. A shame as that was a star quality which we hope will be restored.

Just picked up the Non Vegetarian set meal. Everything was well cooked and delicious. We particularly enjoyed the lamb dish. All dishes were fresh and there was plenty for three people. The meal was ready on time and COVID rules strictly adhered to. Definitely returning to try more dishes.

Gorgeous, fragrant Tibetan food. If you’ve never had momos before, give this place a try and make sure you order some for your starter. They’re juicy, delicious dumplings, you won’t regret it! You can get all the normal Indian dishes but do try the specials, they’re so different and exciting. Just what we needed tonight!

I must say...Everest Lounge is the best Indian in Harborough. I would go as far as saying you are one of my favourites and better than most in Leicester. Always a service with a smile. Keep it up 👍🏾

I have been regular to this place since it was open in Harborough. Their food is always freshly prepared and the menu selections offers something for everyone. Chef’s special are always my favorite. Mimi’s are always something look forward to. Service is very impressive too. Worth a visit and supporting this local business.

Balanced spices tease the delicious flavours of these Tibetan and Napolese dishes Even takeaway dishes are all cooked to order. Michelin worthy, a true delight which I would recommend without hesitation. Cant wait for the restaurant to reopen. You deserve to succeed and get the recognition you deserve.
