We took advantage of a deal to stay at this hotel, the price was excellent and we had a lovely room. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and found the choice and food to be good. All the staff that we had dealings with were very friendly and helpful. The pool and Jacuzzi were good and quiet so had chance to swim in private. The views from the restaurant overlook the Bolton fc football pitch which is an amazing setting for dinner. There is an industrial estate nearby with a selection of shops and a very good choice of restaurants. The prices in the hotel bar were good too and we even met a celebrity footballer in the bar. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return.

Stayed in this hotel quite a few times now, very handy for Manchester city,Trafford centre, and Bolton city centre. Great rooms, great breakfast, if there was any complaint at all it would be the bar prices, but these are no worse than any other hotel of similar quailty. Will certainly stay again.

I had the pleasure of staying at the De Vere Whites Hotel at the Reebok Stadium last week, and can tell you that it is a very pleasant experience. The parking is right at the door and is free, and the hotel itself is very interesting, especially as the prive via Trivago wa sonly £49 for a double room.

The fact that it is part of a football stadium makes for the initial appeal, but this theme isn't really carried out anywhere else in the hotel. This was a shame for me, but I suspect other travellers may actually be relieved by this!

Reception and check in were first rate, and the interior of the hotel is very interesting indeed. A central staircase leads you up to various different levels for sitting, the bar, the restaurant and so on. The only criticism I would have is the restaurant lacks a little soul - it feels a bit sterile.

You will need to let them know if you're not capable of managing stairs too. There is a lift, of course, but I still had to go up a small flight of stairs after the lift to get to my room. I was also left waiting to check out as there was only one member of staff working. A minor point, but if I had been in a bit of a rush to leave to get to an appointment or some such I would have been more annoyed by this.

Overall a good experience, though, and if I'm ever staying in Bolton again I shall certainly think to stay here.

The rooms in this hotel are the real talking point, mine had a full length view of the football pitch! This is definitely a novelty that didn't wear off on our party. The rooms & hotel are clean & well maintained. The restaurant was just ok, there was nothing wrong with the food or decor but nothing to write home about either. The bar shut about 11am despite there being a crowd of 20+ people over several parties still there. In the end the night porter served everyone! The retail park next door provided plenty of amenities despite the hotel looking like it was in the middle of no-where. Overall a good hotel for a night or two.

Excellent parking facilities, warm, comfortable room and great breakfast selection - the latter was particularly welcome after the night before.

Other reviews consistently mention the excellent standard of staff/service, however, on both occasions I have stayed, this has not been my experience. I'm not one for nit-picking, and I generally disagree with people who pick fault at minor issues, but because the same thing has happened twice I feel I should comment. The reception staff on both occasions were having personal conversations across the counter while people waited to check in. During breakfast the next morning, the serving staff were very polite and helpful, although as we were leaving, the two members of staff by the exit decided it would be absolutely hilarious to adopt the mannerisms of 14 year old girls, complete with giggling, a sarcastic 'bye now' and a few evil glares thrown in. I've been a 14 year girl, but thankfully grew out of that behaviour. I can only imagine they were a little bit miffed they had to work on a Sunday morning, but that's life for you.

Having come from the seventh circle of hell of a certain Daresbury hotel that a corporate booking function required me to sleep at I could have slept in a skip behind the back of a supermarket and given this one three stars.

I arrived here.

Clean, friendly, awe inspiring surroundings, helpful staff, comfortable, well equipped, easy IT access, big room, all I need, happy people around and about.

Need I say more.

Cracking hotel. Thanks you for making the rest of my week better.

My husband and I stayed in one of the pitchview rooms for a surprise 30th Birthday treat. The room was a good size and very clean. For the quality and service, the price was very reasonable too. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the pitch from the window was brilliant! We watched the match from our room and at first thought there would be no atmosphere but this was not the case. we could here the fans below and felt part of the crowd - only warmer! The staff even placed banners and balloons around the room after I asked if this was possible. This was a really nice touch and they didn't even charge me. In the morning, we went for breakfast which was buffet style. There was so much choice and all the food was hot and well prepared. Throughout our stay, all the staff were very friendly and helpful and there were ample parking spaces. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We have since stayed at this hotel again and found the quality just as good. This is also the only hotel I have stayed in that had a powerful hairdryer. The only extra item i would have found helpful is a card with the basic information on such as check out times and room service hours but the staff happily answered our questions so this was not a problem. We will definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel on 5/7/13 for our wedding annerversary. We had a meal in the reflections restraunt and the food was fantastic, reasonabley priced 3 course £24. We sat in a booth looking out onto the stadium. Service was good although drinks a little pricey but this was to be exoected. Stayed on the first floor nice room, we did have an issue with noisey neighbours but the reception staff put a stop to it. Well done. Good nights sleep comfy bed, got up for breakfast about 0730, which was also great piping hot it was that nice i seriously thought of having more blackpudding and sauage, but i would have just been a pig as I had plenty first time round. All in all couldnt fault the place.

This is the first time we had visited this area, the reason was to cycle the Ironman route, when I told friends and family where we where going for the weekend they where sceptical. On arriving at the hotel at 2215hrs we where given a warm welcome from the receptionist, she inform us about breakfast and restaurant time and even answered our questions about the area and how to get to the various locations we wanted to visit.
The room was nice and clean, with a non squeaky bed! The tv work fine.

On the Saturday we enquirer about their gym and pool, the receptionist promptly ask a colleague to show us around, which they dully did, giving us the full tour. The pool is a nice size and the exercise room and equipment where a lot better then somewhere hotels I have stay at.

The only negative is the room does not have air conditioning, but the fan that was in the room work ok.

We enjoyed our stay and will booking again in the future.
