Im a keen DIYer and was looking for skirting etc to do up room. Came across skirting4u and was very impressed with site. Detailed and easy to understand. Placed order, came on time and was sent an email to tell me what time delivery would be made. Order was clearly labelled and all in order. Ordered an item less and contacted office. Staff on phone was professional and polite. Very happy and will recommend and use again

A really lovely country pub in high Suffolk with a warm friendly welcome, really good local ale (Brewshed pale ale from Bury St Edmunds), a great beer garden with children’s play area and plenty more to commend it. They’ve got a super pizza oven in the large garden and we found that the pizzas were excellent.

Popped to The Crown as we heard their new outside pizza oven is now open. Lovely welcome at the garden bar, ordered drinks and pizza. The pizza was amazing, really lovely and expertly cooked by Grace. A great place for families with children, lots of space for little ones to run around and have fun on the play equipment in a safe environment. Also a lovely stop off for dog walkers. We’ll worth a visit!

We've visited this hotel previously but were prevented for a while due to the pandemic. This was our first getaway since things have improved and we really needed a break. We knew we would get the best service at the OGH, as we have visited a few Red Carnation hotels and love the brand, and we weren't disappointed. The hotel's reception area has been remodelled since we were last there and it is a great improvement. The staff are unfailingly helpful, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts are wonderful. Rooms are comfortable, as are beds and the most wonderful pillows. We had a medical issue at the end of our stay and no one could have done more to help us resolve the issue. So grateful and appreciative to all staff members. Thank you.

Large choice of cuts, designs and sizes. Could choose a delivery day when ordering and they updated me with a 1h delivery window the day before which was very helpful, and they arrived on time. Better priced than DIY stores. Good quality- I would say only one skirt had some paint remnant from primer on it, and it picked off easily. Really pleased with results now that they are installed.

Sorry that the review is contrary to the norm, but the title sums up our experience. The reception at the bar was warm and friendly, the food was excellent, the service was dire. Did they tuck us round the corner and forgot about us?

My wife and I stayed at the OGH for a week from 14th May as an early celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary and notified them of that fact expecting perhaps a bottle of fizz in the room
However when we arrived we found out that we had been upgraded to a sea view room with a balcony which was amazing as well as that bottle of fizz and that got the holiday off to an incredible start.
Throughout our stay we were treated to wonderful service from all the staff; nothing was too much trouble from parking the car for us to dealing immediately with a couple of minor issues. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day as well as dining there on three occasions and the food was consistently excellent.
I must give a special mention to Siya, one of the Brasserie staff who was always chatty and cheerful and Jaro whose customer service skills were exceptional.
The hotel is simply lovely and the good old fashioned service really helped us to recharge and enjoy our stay. We can’t recommend it enough!
