There is a RNLI station nearby and lifeguards operate on the beach over the summer. Located right by the beach is Pembrey Country Park.

A sandy beach where the 186 mile long Pembrokeshire Coastal Path starts or finishes. A RNLI station can be found near the beach. On the Western end of the beach, dogs are prohibited between May and September.
Aberporth, Ceredigion, , SA43
There are two sandy beaches in Aberporth both of which have been awarded European Blue Flag status. Dogs are not allowed on some parts of certain beaches from May until September. These restrictions don't apply to guide dogs. There is a RNLI station at Aberporth.
