1. Superhero. There's the obvious.... Batman, Superman and Spider-Man. But why not try a more niche superhero: Thor, iron man, hulk, cat woman and even wolverine
2. Professor. If you're looking for something different why not try scaring your pals by forcing them to relive those school science days, a stained lab coat and so e crazy potions are sure to make you stand out
3. Zombie. A timeless classic. But put your own twist on it, have some novelty contact lenses or get a gang of your pals to join the craze
4. Ghost. Great for any budget but may be an idea to stick away from the standard cut bed sheet. Why not send shivers down the spines of your fellow partygoers with some inventive white face paint
5. Nurse. Keep it PG but if you're at a party for grown ups it's a sure fire way to catch the attention of all
6. Vampire. Another classic, suck the life out of any party with some fake teeth and blood
