With bonfire night and Halloween on the way, public firework displays will be back once more. Here are the best of' stop tips to stay safe at your bonfire or fireworks show
1. If you're planning the display, plan in advance... And ensure all fireworks are set up early and are checked for quality
2. Never use paraffin or any highly flammable liquids on the bonfire. They can quickly burn out of control and become explosive
3. Never return to a firework once it has been lit
4. Keep all naked flames at least 20 yards from fireworks. Sorry, no smoking if you're coordinating the display
5. It sounds obvious, but never point the firework near the spectators. Point them away, fireworks can still be enjoyed from afar Enjoy the festivities Yorkies, and no burning of Guys... He's one of our own ;)
