Wrexham Business Week
2nd November 2009

I've been looking at the program for Wrexhams Business Week, starting on Monday, November 16th.

Our friends at Career Wales are featuring on this first day at the Ramada and this session will be aimed at individuals looking for employment.  If you know of anyone in this unfortunate situation do them a favour and note the time, 1-00 to 4-30pm.

Blackwood Business Solutions are hosting Open 4 Business at 10-00am on Tuesday morning.  Run by Glyndwr University the focus will be on enhancing the knowledge transfer between industry and the University.  Lesley Wright and her directors will be on hand to make sure that everything runs smoothly and this will be a great opportunity to see Blackwoods comprehensive facilities in operation.  On Thursday the Welsh Assemblys How to Tender Workshop is also being held at Blackwood.  This morning seession also includes a lunch and who better to tell you how to make winning tenders than the Welsh Assembly itself.  Both of these events are free, but it would be wise to book.

Dave Gray is opening The Foundry for a couple of events and I note that the Chief Economist of Neptune Investment Management is there on Thursday afternoon, free lunch provided.  I have a modest investment in Neptunes Russia and Greater Russia Fund, it will be good to get an update from the horses mouth!  Wednesdays afternoon event is all about marketing, a subject very close to our hearts.

You must not miss Friday morning at The Ramada courtesy of  Angela, Martin and Ron of Minuteman Press.  They have invited the great motivationalist, George Holzmacher from America, to be their keynote speaker on marketing.

I can already see that I will need to be in at least two places at the same time!
