The High Achievers Awards - Wrexham's Youth
24th June 2013
... Comments

The North Wales Crusaders have joined forces with the town's Eagles Meadow shopping centre to recognise and reward young people who deserve a big pat on the back.

The nominees must be between the ages of 11 – 16 and attend a secondary school in the Wrexham County Borough. Each school can nominate as many pupils as they wish for each award. The nominations must be submitted through the school that the pupil attends.

The judging panel will review all the entrants for each award, finally selecting the top 3 persons for each category. The winner will be announced at the special awards ceremony to be held at Wrexham’s Racecourse Stadium on the 18th July.

The 3 finalists will be invited to attend the awards event with other category nominees and to celebrate their amazing achievements. It will be an amazing afternoon, recognising the efforts and contributions of all the young people attending. Every nominee will be invited to attend, accompanied by a teacher.

All shortlisted entrants will receive a prize generously donated by retailers at Eagles Meadow with a main prize for the overall winner in each category.

In addition to the 7 categories listed below, “The High Achiever” Award will be chosen by the judges from the winners of all the categories.

Do you know an extraordinary person who is deserving of an award? Contact their school and ensure they are on the nomination list. Deadline for nominations is the 5th of July.
