You'll never believe it, but it's raining again. I'm beginning to think that Gordon Brown has been put in charge of the weather as well!
There must be some winners in this wet, wet summer, our friends at Global Travel are an obvious choice, but I found another one today. I called in to see the new manager, Paul, at Run Around at Blue Bears Playbarn and they have been bursting at the seams with excited children, they would have been busy anyway but they represent heaven to frustrated parents.
Paul has taken over the management duties from Area Manager Phil who is overseeing the companies latest acquisition, Run Around at Jumping Jacks Playbarn in Chester. Owners Wendy and Ian have certainly found the right formular for really great Playbarns. No business is recession proof but Run Arounds management has shown that with a lot of effort, enthusiasm from a great team, and let's admit it, an injection of capital, success can be achieved. If you have youngsters and haven't been to Blue Bears recently, pay them a visit on the next rainy day, you probably wont have to wait long. Just a thought, they take grandparents to, but only when accompanied by children.
