Make a note in your diaries now. The August Bank Holidays top local attraction is the Beer Festival at The Gredington Arms. Your hosts, Rod and Di Watson have arranged for 24 top Cask Ales to be available over the weekend and you can enjoy them whatever the weather. Inside in the Hydeaway Bar or in the spacious beer garden.
Two great bands will be playing, Too Far Gone on Saturday afternoon and evening and The Selection Box on Sunday evening. This band play a selection of every-bodies favourite songs and the combination of nostalgia and Real Ale make for a memorable time.
The Gredington Arms is in The Good Beer Guide, Camras and The Good Food Guide and good food, from snacks to full meals will be available throughout the weekend.
Rod and Di have also been awarded The Cask Marque in recognition of their excellence in beer keeping. Join them for the Festival, or why not have a trial visit sooner, you’ll need to spend some time to sample 24 different brews and so you may as well start now. There is always a great selection of casks on offer.
