When a friend asked if there was anywhere that I could recommend in Wrexham for a family outing, I suggested a visit to Bangor on Dee Racecourse. Although this was their first visit to a Race Meeting they had a great time and the birthday boy even made a profit.
They intend to go to the Ladies Day meeting on Friday July 31st, but I think that that my friend will need to pick more winners that day as I understand that the occasion demands a new dress!
Sunny summer is bound to arrive soon and a whole family or a group of friends can spend a great day and enjoy a picnic at Bangor-on-Dee races for very little outlay. Make a note of Saturday Aug 15th in your diary, you might be born to enjoy the "Sport of Kings", at very affordable prices. Or of course you can push the boat out and enjoy the Meeting in one of the splendid suites and partake of a special meal from Heathcotes!
