In the Church of England the day ends with an evening service of prayer and praise, using the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer.
This service is led by the choir, who sing responses, canticles, an anthem, and the psalms set for the day, allowing the congregation to experience the beauty of the music in this iconic setting. There are some readings from the Bible, and prayers are said for the Church, the World and ourselves.
The guest preacher will be The Reverend Jerry Garton.
Join in this service in the tranquil beauty of our Saxon church.
