Worthing Thunder Sign Marcus Tullis
Worthing Thunder are pleased to announce the signing of Marcus Tullis a 6’7” former University of Pittsburg forward.
Marcus should be with the Club shortly having finally completed the UK Visa formalities.
Tullis has an impressive record with University of Pittsburg having started all 31 games in his last full season with them. Marcus finished as the teams’ leading scorer netting an average of 14.43 points per game and was the third leading rebounder at an average of 5.1 rebounds per game. His 62.1% field goal percentage was second on the team and ranked third in the WVIAC and 18th overall in NCAA Division 2.
Gary Smith head coach was clearly impressed by this latest signing; “Marcus is a very explosive player and we are looking for great things from him this season. At 6’7” he is not only a good rebounder but his ball handling skills are also impressive. I am sure he will make a great impact for the team this year and will have a successful season with us”
