Rebels shake off a slow start with a win over Beckenham Town
Worthing FC travelled to Eden Park Avenue for their second tie against Beckenham Town after their initial deadlock at the end of last month.
The home side took the lead at the end of a lacklustre first half, but Worthing continued to push as the second half started and grabbed the equaliser just after the hour mark.
Ryan McBride returned from his holiday to volley home the winning goal in the eightieth minute, and Rebels will now face Staines Town on October 15th.
