The Adur & Worthing Business Awards are back for 2011, taking place at the Pavilion Theatre on Saturday the 8th of October.

Nominations are flooding in, and thebestofworthing is pleased to announce another of our brilliant business members who are going for gold at the Awards ceremony.

Bennett Griffin LLP are nominated for the Medium to Large Business of the Year Award, as well as the Business in the Community Award.

The Medium to Large Business Award is seeking a business that boosts the town’s reputation for its skilled and motivated commercial community.

Established in 1990, Bennett Griffin have grown steadily ever since, providing expert legal advice for both corporate and private clients, now with over fifty staff and five branches across West Sussex.

Bennett Griffin provide a reliable source of local business assistance through the Lawyers For Your Business scheme, and drawing new clients – and thus, new business – to the area through their flourishing reputation.

All lawyers at Bennett Griffin have individual training budgets for professional development, encouraging progression at all levels and ensuring top quality, expert legal advice on a vast range of areas.

The Business in the Community Award highlights those business that give something back to the town, creating a lasting effect and supporting the communities in which we live.

Bennett Griffin regularly hold and participate in events to raise money for local causes and charities, as well as volunteering at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Worthing. The Private Client team assist in will-writing schemes with charities including international Animal Rescue and Cancer Research UK.

In November of last year, Bennett Griffin put on a Bowling Bonanza fundraising event at AMF Bowling in aid of Children in Need. Over one hundred people attended from local businesses across town, donating the prizes awarded on the evening, and pledges were made of approximately £1,900!

This event, alongside the many others that Bennett Griffin has sponsored, organised, or taken part in, have left a lasting effect on the local community.

Their regular coffee mornings in and around Worthing provides members of the public with the chance to discuss legal issues with expert advisors.
