The ELO Experience (June 30, 7.30pm) Worthing Assembly Hall

ELO tribute shines a little love in Worthing.

The ELO Experience presents a new tribute to Jeff Lynne and the Electric Light Orchestra when they visit Worthing at the end of the month.

40 years ago Birmingham musician Roy Wood formed the Electric Light Orchestra, who, under the guidance of Jeff Lynne, became one of the most remarkable success stories in Birmingham’s musical history. Now Andy Louis leads The ELO Experience who pay tribute to the band which enjoyed twenty-six Top Forty hits in the United Kingdom and twenty Top Forty hits in the United States between 1972 and 1986.

The ELO Experience perform all ELO’s greatest hits during their two hour show which features two cellists, three guitarists, keyboard player and drummer who work together to create ELO’s trademark four-part harmonies.

The band recreates the songs with the arrangements associated with ELO, including Wild West Hero, Shine a Little Love, The Diary of Horace Wimp, Sweet Talkin’ Woman, Don’t Bring me Down and ever-popular Mr Blue Sky.
