Sussex Accountancy Firm Expands Partnership Team
Spofforths Chartered Accountants is expanding its team of knowledgeable experts with the addition of two new partners. The well-known Sussex based firm recently offered partnership roles to Janet Fautley and Simon Webber. There is a strong demand for Spofforths accountancy services and existing partners decided that Janet and Simon each have a variety of skills which are sure to benefit clients.
Based at the firm’s Horsham office, Janet is enjoying her role as Technical Partner and she ensures that staff and clients are well-informed about the latest industry trends and any changes in regulation. Janet also acts as Audit Partner on a number of commercial and not for profit clients. She specialises in charities, housing associations and service charges. Simon has worked across the firm for ten years, moving to the Chichester office in 2009 where he heads up a specialist audit and assurance team. Simon is experienced in working with limited companies, groups, charities and a range of owner managed businesses.
Partner Mark Spofforth commented: “I am delighted that Janet Fautley and Simon Webber accepted our invitation to join the partnership this July. It’s fantastic to have two such talented individuals joining the team. Both have contributed to the firm in exceptional ways over recent years and we look forward to having their input at the partnership table going forward.”
Simon went on to say: “At Spofforths, I have been lucky enough to work with a variety of businesses. These include property investment companies, manufacturers and a number of benevolent and grant making charities. I believe that the key to providing quality support and advice is to build strong relationships and establish a real understanding of a client’s business and the issues they face. I very much look forward to the challenges this new role will give me as well as the opportunity to build further client relationships.”
